Working in the Garden
Spring is a time to garden! The weather has been so nice that it has been difficult to focus on inside responsibilities. On the flip side, it has been so dry that I am having to spend a lot of time watering.
Duckling recess
Phil rotolling the bed so I can plant my annual starts.
Jubilee loves mowing. I do too but I don't have time.
My seed mixes are being watered in. The pathways naturally became a good place to race through the sprinklers.

I picked up all my annual starts from my parents. Unfortunately, I will have to call this year's attempt at doing my own seeds and having a flower cutting garden a failure.
My greenhouse didn't get put up and I had to use my mom's so I wasn't there to transplant or fertilize when things needed it. The plants were puny and don't seem to be growing even in the ground. Mice ate the seeds, twice. Having weekends disrupted with teen activities left things sitting outside waiting to be planted. The ducks got into the new beds and uprooted things. Then, a late frost killed off all of my vegetable starts and did damaged to a half the things that I had planted. I spent so much time and money trying to get this vision that I had up and running. It has been a disappointment.
