Unfortunately, some of our guests were unable to make it due to fevers and coughs. We missed having Auntie Tina, Uncle A and the cousins here as well as Beth and Sarah and their cousin. The adult's table held 6 and we squeezed 6 children at the little table complete with lots of candles and center pieces. We could have fit more with an additional adult table and the coffee table for more children. We listened to Jeremy (the young man who came to learn about organic farming last year and has become part of the family - Hello to Jeremy's family back in Switzerland.) tell about his experience living with an Amish family. A giant salad with greens from Grammy's garden and the first of our nasturtium blossoms, 5 kinds of pesto (cilantro-mint, parsley, asparagus, basil, and dried tomato-feta), bread, and cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.
