January's End

It was technically a short week with Monday being a holiday but it sure felt like a regular long week to both me and Phil.  Last weekend  felt nice and long and productive.  It included outside work, walking the property to outline where the new goat barn will be, where the water lines will be put in, where the fence lines needed to go, and how to arrange the vegetable garden.  We had a quick adventure up to Lake Oswego after church when it was too rainy to work outside. Ending Vacation and Launching into January 2019!

I really enjoyed our Christmas Break this year!  It felt longer than usual, there was an adventure thrown in, lots of downtime, art time, and I got some planning done.  Plus, no one got sick!  LOL!  The only part of it that was stressful was Sunday night when the house was quite a mess and knowing we had to transition back to "real life" and I didn't feel ready. Belated birthday breakfast with Evi. Shotguns and wrist rockets.... Pulling tansy and burn piles. Amazing skies... Sending Phil pictures of me... Art, Art, Wonderful Art!  I got 6 felted pictures done and 3 stitched to completion! Finished an oil pastel Van Gogh painting.
