The Month of June

Image
Garden We are off to a very slow start in the garden, as I have shared but it is starting to get there...hopefully. I love the way the garden looks in the evening with the sun in the west, especially when the watering is going! The children harvesting chamomile for the food dryer. The first strawberries from the garden. Bouquets Cats Ok, I know this is a little...weird lady with cats-ish but I have taken to sending Phil skype cat updates.  LOL And we sometimes send each other selfie's as well... And sometimes people get ahold of my phone and take selfies In June... ...Phil worked on watering or peed his pants, you decide. ....Sawyer read a dozen books ....Jubilee got her learner's permit ...I sat around ....Phil took 2 naps ...Jubilee got to run equipment at one of the school functions. ...we picked up fish food and Brighton insisted on a selfie with the koi. ...the farm van life was in full force ...there was breakfast with a house rabbit ...we had our last school function ...

Oregon in June

Different June days from the porch: We picked up our kayaks in Albany, about 45 minutes south of us and took the scenic route home. Phil took these on his way home from work, this is just a few miles from our house, on the hilltop.  Our road winds through the trees and then levels out through farm fields, (and that is where our house is), before weaving back up into the tree covered hills. I have a country roads route that I take home after my nutritional therapy appointment in Woodburn. Checking the mail at the end of my driveway, this is overlooking our field down to our tree block.  Hard to believe that we live here!
