May Catch Up, Part 1

 April and May are the most beautiful months of the year (followed by maybe October).  I love the coolor of new green, the blooming fields, all the things bursting with color in my garden, and the ever changing skies. Starting in the Spring, I took on a massive project to weed, carboard mulch, and edge and wrap in weed barrier the entire garden bed.  It took me a good 2 months with lots of help from the kids but it really helped to keep the weeds down. May Catch Up, Part 2

 Life in May "My heart is breaking because there is cauliflower in this." Long live the queen Dentist appointment A rare occurrence when a child (any child but particularly this one) gets in the hot tub. Poor Evi, a random puke morning.  The cats were there to lend their support. We found quite the score at a garage sale/rock sale.  We bought some really neat rocks and Brighton got this thunder egg from Desolation Canyon, in Eastern Oregon. Inspection of the suitcases for my upcoming trip to the Midwest. Making pies for science lab. Organizing the pantry space with stackable totes. I guess this was a solution to the tons of things that don't have a space.  Stacking totes floor to ceiling, eating up my bedroom space...oh well. I discovered a horrific leak under the sink that warped and molded the sink unit so bad, it had to be replaced. The pet parade, a tradition, I am always trying to get out of.  It is fun but Silverton just doesn't feel like home anymore. Bri...
