New Posts!

12, count them 12, new posts coming your way!! I haven't had time to blog the last 2 weeks and there has been so much going on! Here are the latest happenings of the Kelly household! Is it wise to give a baby a bannana in the car? We try and take a walk with Claudia (our dog) everyday day. We found these milk containers under a free sign. I figured I would let the children paint them. This is the latest addition to the Kelly Urban Farm. Meet "Bon Bon" or as we have changed her given (and tatooed name) to Wee Bonnie Lass. She is a mini rex, seal (black with brown color) female bunny. She is velvety soft! I just love her!! We also bought a male in hopes of having a litter or two sometime down the line but he is still too young to leave his momma. We will pick him up mid November.

Apple Pressing Party

Image
This is the third annual apple pressing party that my parents have hosted. We pressed 201 half gallons of apple cider! We let it cure for about 2 weeks in the fridge and then put it in the freezer for delicious cider all winter long! Loading up the apples Sawyer and Noah pressing down the apples A team effort! Pouring the juice in the 1/2 gallons

Art Class

Image
On Thursday afternoons, we have been taking an art class. We haven't been able to attend every class but we have enjoyed grid drawing, puppet making, and mask making. On the 31st, we will have an art exhibit to show off all the wonderful art work! Meeting new friends. Painting the puppet After the first class, I decided that it was a little too much for me to undertake the level of help that the children needed and still be able to attend to a baby. The teacher volunteered a helper just for us! Having a second set of hands while B threw up copious amounts of green avacado goo EVERYWHERE during puppet class was helpful as was the following week when B didn't take an afternoon nap and was extrememly cross!
