Getting Festive to Welcome December

The Winter weather is upon us...lots of days of gray and dark.

We usually get our tree the weekend of Thanksgiving.
The 2020 tree!

I literally had to force them out of the car and make them participate in the annual tree hunt and picture.  It was not the perfect tree this year.  We went to two different places trying to find something that was an open style tree and didn't look too pruned.  We settled for this one.

With the kitties, I didn't want to get out any ornaments that I would be upset about having broken and I didn't really feel much like careful placement because the tree seemed a bit wonky and thick so I just put on ornaments randomly with no thought or care.  I filled the tree and then put these gaudy red bead strings on that I have had for years but didn't like the color of.  It was so thrown together and the beads were out of character for what I normally do but it has ended up being a tree I really enjoy!

Phil is lying on the ground with a squirt bottle to protect the tree from circling cats.
