The Best Kind of Winter Storm!

Just a winter morning

The first of the snows in the distant hills

The weather forecast called for thunderstorms which usually mean great clouds and movement.

This was in the morning:



In the afternoon, I had to postpone school so I could watch the storm.  I could actually see the two cells converging on each other with the movement of the clouds.  One coming from the Southwest and the other from the Northwest.  It lasted about 2 hours.  We didn't see any lightening and it didn't rain but it was amazing to watch how the skies changed.  This is the "time lapse" sequence of photos.
