House Sale Pictures, Part 2
This week was actually quite stressful. Phil left early 3 days this week (2 of them before 5:30). He had a school board meeting Monday night, he worked late Tuesday night, I took the children to Awanas Wednesday night so Phil could stay home and work on the house, Thursday was truly insane with Brighton's appointment up in Portland (11:00-2:00), the girls in 4-H (1:00-3:00), Sawyer at his construction class (3:00-5:30), Phil with another after school meeting (3:30-5:00), picking up some chairs (6:30). We were both literally driving all over and meeting in between to switch out cars depending on who had the most children to transport. We fell into bed at 9:00 both of us thinking we should be doing more work but both being too tired. Phil considered running the load in the trailer out to my brother and Tina's barn and then grouting. I considered starting on the deep clean. The relators are coming at 1:00 today and we are not going to be ready. We have gone 2 weeks past the day we had initially wanted to put the house on the market and there is still so much to do - odds and ends to load in the trailer, pressure washing, grout, paint touch ups inside, dog poop clean up, and deep cleaning. Once the house is on the market, we will continue with some of the other projects that need to be done before we have a final sale - garage clean, cleaning the side of the house and painting (we never did get around to finishing the painting on the house), patching some drywall, removing the stove pipe and patching the ceiling and roof. Then, I will start on packing up the kitchen and the storage closets.
Yesterday was the first day that I felt really truly discouraged. We have come a long way and we have done so much and are doing the best we can...but it sometimes doesn't feel like it's enough.
Children bedrooms are cleaned and paint is touched up.
