My Oregon

These California Poppies were truly breathtaking.  I had been driving by the field for a good week or two admiring them and wanting to photograph them but then it rained and they slipped past their prime.  Despite some windy weather and poor lighting, I decided to stop and capture this little moment in time.

I love these colorful bee boxes that I see on field edges.

On our way home from a town trip, we saw a field of chartreuse green (my favorite color) and decided to investigate. As we neared, these fragrant yellowish flowers were lit up by a back light of sun through the storm clouds.
