Thanksgiving Day Weekend and then some

Evi's dinosaur.  I love love love the feet!

Turkey personalities.  I love how each turkey represents the artist.  We have Sawyer, who asked to see pictures of turkeys so he could represent true colors and likeness.  Evi with her random colors, whatever she likes at the moment.  Jubilee's princess turkey in rainbows.

I slipped outside at about 8 in the morning to watch the early morning lighting through the clouds.  Photography for me, is mostly composition and capturing life's moments but true artistry is capturing light whether it be filtered, shadows, reflections, or highlights and as they play about the composition.  Even if I can't capture the image, I really enjoy being in the moment of breathtaking beauty!

Instead of our traditionally scheduled school day, I put together packets of color sheets and activity pages  for the children to work on.

Love this picture!!

Thanksgiving

I love that my parents invite people to join our family.  It was fun to have Gram down from Seattle this year as well as Jeremie (from Switzerland) and Jeff (friend of my parents).

Digressing to Glorielle's age?

Or acting like Grammy?

(Actually Tina smeared Grammy with whip cream LOL)
Glorielle modeling my birthday present a super duper stock pot!  Canning season next year will be so much more productive!

Grandma came down for the weekend bringing Phil's cousins Adrian and Allison.  It was really nice to have them over for a visit and have them here to celebrate Sawyer's birthday a bit early.

I am kicking myself for not taking more Thanksgiving and visiting pictures!!  Sometimes, I just forget or am not in the photography mood and therefore don't get to it!
