Whew, what a weekend

Friday I was so tired in the morning. I begin to feel achy and got a nasty headache. By late afternoon, it finally dawned on me, I have the flu. The children were complaining about tummy aches so I think it hit us all at once. Saturday we all felt miserable. Phil and I had the aches and headaches and the children had diarrhea and could clear the room with their gas. Sunday, I felt a bit better but the rest of us, including Evi still felt poorly. Monday, we felt a little better but still not 100%. I felt mostly normal today but Phil is still achy. Sawyer seems to be on the mend. Jubilee and Evi are still having intestinal problems. YUCK! The sickies are NO fun!

We didn't go to church on Sunday but we were forced out to make a run to my parents to pick up bread and milk. We had just stepped in the door when my parents called to tell us the my niece, Zellee, had a seizure and was in the hospital. HOW SCARY! There wasn't much we could do but wait wait wait. She went through a series of tests blood, urine, MRI, CAT scan, EEG, and who knows what else but everything came back normal. YEAH! She had two more seizures while at the hospital and it was a miserable two days of waiting and praying. They are back home now with no explanations. We are hoping and praying it was just a one time, strange, phenomenon, never to be repeated.

Glad that weekend is over! Ready to move on with a family that feels better physically and emotionally.
